GM Traits fam! 💚👽
I’ve been thinking about what it means to be a part of Alien Traits @alien_inks …

Traits is a family for like-minded people, some of whom have never met each other in real life. 👉🙋♂️
Like-minded people who wax poetic on topics like art, collectibles, comics, stories and storytelling, business, leadership, traits, and probably most of all, @veefriends, the IP and brand started by @garyvee
And my boy @KOWSKY_ took all of that and built this community basically from the ground up
It started with him sharing some of his artwork. A few of us got interested in it, and eventually that grew into Alien Traits, an NFT project inspired by @veefriends character traits, memorialized through Kowsky’s own beautiful and unique art style, with each 1/1 piece accompanied by his prose and poetic interpretation of what that trait means
There’s also the whole story of the Lore Master himself drawing alien hieroglyphics years ago after visiting a psychic who handed him an empty canvas and told him he had an alien language inside of him…but I’m gonna let Kowsky tell that one himself before I accidentally turn myth into legend. 😂👽
But the art and NFTs are only part of what Traits has become.

We can come and go as we please and talk about “whatever the fuck we want”…so long as we respect each other in the process.
We’re character maxis, artists, musicians, veterans, chefs, financial advisors, entrepreneurs, AI agents…oops, I mean we’re not bots. Well, maybe one of us is. 🤖👨🏫
But we ARE AI practitioners, creatively making funny shorts, lasting images and content that hits with impeccable timing.
We’re dynamically getting after it, nurses working double shifts and getting shit done.
We adapt to whatever adventure and adversity comes our way with practical optimism and practical positivity. 😎
We’re moms, dads, aunts, uncles, sons and daughters. We’re new dads and mothers of 5. Some of us are gramps and grandmas.
We’re flippers, sketchers and coffee makers…☕️
We’re fans of the 5’s and always ready to say Hi! 🖐️
We simulate reality by day, then sell custom cards, sling slabs, rip packs, make podcasts and chat it up by night.
We turn cacti into art and art into community. 🌵
We’re DJs, beatmakers and mixers of sound, spinning deep into the night. 🎧🎶
We build businesses around the stuff we genuinely love.
We collect what we love and KNOW what we collect. We’re reflective about why we collect it and what brings our hearts joy. 💜
We help each other, teach each other and support each other.
We’re just savagely kind…
We’re hyped by others’ wins and empathetic when others are going through it. We’re grateful for each other’s perspectives, even when we agree to disagree.
We Pul big hits and are poised to see each other’s collections grow. 😎
We have a genuine faith that VeeFriends will be a leading IP for decades, and picking up our grails along the way makes us feel jolly.
And I’m sure some of us would enjoy a nice bowl of pea salad. 🫛🥗
We think we’re hot shit and badass, notoriously humble, inch by inch, blessed to be very very very very lucky on the worst days.
When we buy stuff, there will be signs. We consign and co-sign, and design and sometimes we’re spontaneously, outrageously generous🙏
We live for the moment and are patient for the long term🐼🛣️
We come in 8th place and never ask for a trophy…because sometimes we suck and we’re working to improve. 😂
We’re resilient in the face of years of trauma, with the courage to face our fears and brave enough to tell stories about all the dark clouds and our silver linings☁️
We’re market watchers, traders and trenders, trying to catch the right moment.
Rare coins, stable coins, meme coins, graded coins…we might consider wrangling a few tokens and whatever else is shiny for the short term and the long. And with a bubbly outlook, we’re never too good to pick up a dime along the way🪙
We share our wins and our losses, gritty enough to keep going and willing to have the humility to be honest when things don’t work out and share the teachable moments they leave behind.
We love stories more than shiny, but logically, shiny makes us smile. ☺️
We gurn because we like to be silly, and we don’t give a fuck about what people think about how we look, even when we make ourselves look ugly. 😂👽
We’re graceful like a pirate playing poker in his finest regalia, proactive at the table and ready to lay down whatever card the moment calls for with aura, skill and stamina. 🏴☠️🃏
We’re jolly (always), resilient and motivated to see what the next day has in store.
We say “Fuck you Monday!” and do our best to deal with them… 😂
And as Kowsky reminds us, “It’s a great day for a great day!” 👽💜
From drop to drop, we can’t stop, won’t stop…but pause when we’ve had enough.
We hate accountability and love it tremendously, and we vow to kindly hold each other accountable when it feels right💜🐜

Not forced. No bad intentions. Just helping each other win, 🧱x🧱
And through all of it, I’m gracious and grateful to be a part of the Traits fam. 💜👽

And I know I haven’t woven everyone into these words. That’s not because anyone means any less to this fam. There are simply so many stories, personalities, perspectives and inside jokes to fit into one post.
So if you don’t see yourself in a line, know that you’re still part of the story, still part of the traits fam. 💜👽
